The woman cringes and starts playing with the locket around her neck anxiously.

"Well, he's only been missing for a day. He went on his nightly walk through the woods, and never returned.... I would have called the guards, but he didn't want anyone to know about his nightly.... excursions..." She looks up at the party tearfully.

"Do you think you could.... find him and bring him home safely? Please? We would be forever in your debt."

Cutting herself off she shakes her head and changes the subject.

"I cannot promise you our most valuable treasures, but I can guarantee you will be handsomely rewarded. As for the key, if it is the one I am thinking of, he carries it on his person at all times... Please bring him back to m- us."

"Of course, he has the fucking key on him. Of course," she rants to herself as she leaves the castle. "It could not be sitting a drawer somewhere, ready to be stolen. Of course not."

"My dear. You are doing a horrible job at hiding that you are his woman." Sloan smiled.

"Enough of the tears, I hate seeing a woman cry."

The Drow pulled out a handkerchief and handed it to the woman. He leaned it close to her face.

"Why don't you show us where he last traveled. Perhaps access to his room?"

Xhiero sighed as Azazel burst out of the room. He left Sloan to question the woman and caught up to Azazel. Gently patting her on the shoulder.

"Nothing is easy around here." He frowned and looked around the castle. "If only we could have gotten here a day sooner."

The reaper scanned the room to see if there were any clues to give them a headstart.

Azazel notices from her perusal of the room a map indicating that the woods are located about ten miles to the south.

Azazel stares at the map and taps the forest with her finger. "It would be nice if we had a better idea where within the forest he went. Let us hope he is terrible at being sneaky and left a trail."

"Shall we go? We can fly to the forest, perhaps find something of note from the air."

The woman smiles somewhat shakily back at Sloan.

"Yes, of course." She motions for Sloan and Lexa to follow and leads them to the king's chambers. Removing her locket, she opens it and presses a button. Suddenly, a wall slides back revealing a long dark tunnel.

Lexa pats the woman's hand comfortingly and offers her most reassuring smile. Giving the woman a thumbs up, she grabs Sloan's hand and pulls him towards the tunnel.

Xhiero noticed the woman leaving the room with Sloan and Lexa.

"Perhaps we should follow those two. They seem to know where to look for clues." He said and grabbed Azazel's hand, pulling her along with them.

"Thanks, love." The Drow smirked before he was pulled along by the tiefling.

He takes the time to glance around the tunnel for clues while being dragged.

Azazel follows along behind and pulls out her drift orb to illuminate the dark tunnel. She scans the tunnel looking for anything of note as she travels down towards the end.

It is really fucking dark in the tunnel, Sloan sees nothing and trips over a rock taking 2 damage!

Lexa frowns and helps him up taking a moment to heal his injury.

As far as Xhiero can tell it is just a long dark tunnel. He thinks he might see some footprints, but they are hard to make out. Luckily, Azazel who is following behind spots them with ease.
