Etheyl laughs at Xhiero's pool party prep. "Sweet plan," she calls out.
Etheyl thinks about Lexa's question. "You bring up a really good point by asking. Sometimes people--especially friends--play pranks on each other for fun." She nods her head towards Xhiero. "Like him putting the mint in with the candy. Little tricks or silly things that might catch them off guard. Sometimes it can be funny for the person who got pranked too, like...'You got me!' and you can get a chuckle out of your friends being silly. I guess it's not even close to every time though."
Etheyl is tied up in the contradiction Lexa pointed out. "I did try to make it a little less mean by making it so she--or we--could pull them down easily after she saw them. But you make me think. It's not like I want to upset her. Maybe let her know I was thinking of her and have a little fun with it? I guess pranks are pretty weird."
She eyes the dangling hearts thoughtfully. "Hm. Well...maybe we should take them down. We can always try another way of having fun, letting her know we're thinking of her, and not upset her." Etheyl smiles at Lexa. "You know, you ask some really good questions. It's good of you. Now...hm. What could we do to make Azazel happy, then? My go-to would be to bake, but Xhiero can do that any time, better then we probably could. Any ideas?"

"I was bored and thought I could try and get some money. Things didn't go as plan. I had no intention of a bar fight. I had things under control." He frowned at Susan but leaned over and pecked her on the cheek.
"Thanks for saving me."
Xhiero watched as the two talked in the tree. He backtracked into the house and pulled out his key to return back to his room. Digging through his closet he pulled out a guitar. Xhiero blew the dust off of the bag and brought it back to Azazel's house. He sat down under the tree, beneath Etheyl and Lexa, figuring out how to play the instrument again.

Azazel head jerks up from her book when she hears a screech coming from outside. "What the hell was that?" She grabs her axe and climbs out the window, following the sound that starts to sound more and more like a guitar.
Spotting the group gathered in and around the tree and tentatively moves closer. Sticking to the shadows, she says, "What are you guys doing out here? Why are there god damn hearts all over the place?"

"Yes, you certainly seemed to have things under control." Susan scoffs. "What do you need extra money for?! What is the point of dating an heiress if you don't make her buy things for you?!"

"What's the matter, love? Don't want to sit near me?" He scoots towards her, putting his face directly in front of her. His lips frowned as he studied her injuries.
"I don't want to be spoiled..it is more fun to earn your own things." Val pouted. He smiled and patted her on the head.
"I suppose being saved by you is quite flattering. Who wouldn't melt seeing a strong, independent woman."

[Or maybe it should be a get well soon card?] She writes, wondering if she should add those words to the interior of the card.

Lexa beams with happiness when Azazel ruffles her hair. Physical contact from Azazel was so rare that she felt incredibly privileged to be on the receiving end of it. Turning away, she looks at Xhiero's guitar curiously.

"I'll scold you later...." He sat back down and held the guitar out towards Lexa.
"Did you want to play with this?"

Lexa makes an excited sound in the back of her throat when she successfully plays a song. Covering her mouth with mild embarrassment she glances around nervously to make sure no one heard.

"Then I will have to break down that jail and take you home."
He helped Lexa hold the guitar better and positioned her hand over the string. Letting go so she can play with the instrument correctly.
"Curiosity kills the cat, my dear kitty. Let's go home and let things be." He threw and arm behind her back and ushered her back home.
"But if you really want to know then I guess I can't stop you. I will go with you...and if things go down the hell hole then you have to promise to make a run for it."

"No, I suppose you are right." Susan agrees as Val ushers her home. "It is sometimes hard for me to resist my sense of curiosity." She grins at him.
