    Azazel nods, staring at him and his weird reaction to giving his name. "Well, I am not sure how Xhiero will feel about having his assassin under the same roof, but you can come in for the moment. Get cleaned up and what not."

    She climbs out of the van and moves to offer Mark her hand. "I appreciate what you did to help. If there is something I can do to repay you, do not hesitate to ask."

    Kain slipped out of the van and watched as Azazel walked up to Mark. His eyes studied the other man carefully. He quietly followed behind her and moves in between the two.

    "Excuse me." He clench his fist and swings it at Mark.

    "Asshole."     Kain muttered and walked inside the house. He pulled his hand away from Lexa.

    "I don't need your help..."

    Mark fell to the ground as his appearance changed to Sloan. He hissed at the other man and wiped the blood from his lip.

    "I am still your damn captain, you shitbag."

    Lexa gasps and hugs Sloan again, tail twitching happily.

    "Are you fucking kidding me?" Azazel glares down at Sloan, part pissed, part bewildered. "Why am I even surprised?"

    She runs a hand over her face and walks into the house, shaking her head. "I do not have the energy for this bullshit."


    As Azazel passes Kain, she points off towards the guest wing. "There should be a free room in there. The bathroom should have a medkit and anything else you need. I need to check on Xhiero."


    She locates Xhiero and sits next to him, looking him over in worry. "Are you feeling okay? What happened?"

    "It is worth being polite when I know it drove you up a damn tree not being able to prove anything." Sloan growled when Lexa attached herself to him again.

    "Hello to you too, sister." Val stared at Azazel as she sat down next to him.

    "Well I guess I will leave you two alone and go..do the laundry." He shoved the medkit at Azazel and walks out of the room.

    "Other then feeling like shit, I should manage." Xhiero threw an arm over his face. "I was walking along the docks when I started getting shot at. I swear I didn't start a bar fight. Stupid Susan."

    He slide his hand down from his face and looked at Azazel.

    "I am sorry. I hurt you earlier. Do we need to talk?"

    "Thank you, brother." Azazel calls after Val as he leaves.

    "It is fine." She pats Xhiero's hand, with a small smile. "We can worry about it later. I just want you to rest and get better."

    "I am sure it will come as no surprise that it was the people Sloan works for that was behind this. I.. have the sniper downstairs, unless he ran off." She frowns. "He tried to hand over control of himself to me. Which I do not understand."

    Xhiero pushed himself up from the bed and rest his back against the head of the bed.

    "Not everyone pledge to loyalty. Some do what they must to survive. He probably thinks that sticking with us for now is his safest plan." He squeezed her hand.

    "Hey, I didn't get kidnapped this time. That's the second time in a row right?" He tried to laugh but winced at the pain.

    "You should really get some rest, Mr. Bullet Sponge." She leans over and kisses his forehead.

    "And I should probably go down and make sure no one gets blood on my floors," she says, but doesn't look exactly pleased at the idea.

    He opened his mouth to protest but closes it.

    "Fine..." Xhiero slide back down into the mattress and closed his eyes. "Good night."

    "Would you kindly shut up and leave me alone!" He walked over to the bar and grabs a bottle of liquor before marching off.

    Kain ignores everyone and goes straight for the empty room that Azazel had pointed out.

    Val goes back to his room and changes out of his current clothes that were stained with blood. He pulled out a new set and slides onto the bed.

    "Fun..This house gets fuller each day."

    "Time to deal with the 'guests'," she grumbles to herself. "I am seriously going to start charging."

    She makes her first stop at the guest rooms, knocking on Kain's door.
