    "You really think we should leave them alone here?" Azazel frowns and places her hands over Xhiero's, leaning back into his chest. "I am not sure. We could go out to town. Get some food and find some entertainment. Or just go back to hell."

    "Town...might not be the best place for me right now." Xhiero flicked her nose.

    "We will find peace and quiet in hell where no one an stalk us down." He smiled and walked back out to their room where Lexa was still standing there.

    "Lexa, Azazel and I are going someplace for a bit to help her relax from all this stress. If you need us just make Val call us, okay?" He smiled and patted her head before packing his things.

    "Ah, right. I did not think about the issues with going into town so soon." She gives him an apologetic grin and follows him back into the bedroom.

    Azazel looks around the room for anything she needs to bring and just shrugs. She takes a seat on the bed to wait for Xhiero to finish his packing.

    He opened the portal and waved to Lexa before passing through. On the other side he dropped his bag on the couch and walked straight to the fridge to grab something to drink.

    Azazel follows Xhiero through and falls into a couch and stretched out. "Most definitely."

    "You know it has occurred to me that you have not run off to work in a while. Is there anything you need to take care of while we are here?"

    "Usually my income comes from how many souls I turn in. That's not hard to gather with when I travel with you guys." Xhiero smirked.

    Azazel grins at the mention of souls. "I suppose we do rack up the body count a bit."

    Susan grins at Val and pulls him closer to her, kissing him deeply before releasing him and digging into the omelet.




    Lexa wanders into the kitchen and grabs an apple, sitting at the counter and happily munching it.

    "Mostly all you." He chuckled and leans towards her.

    "What would you like to do now that we are alone?"

    We was caught off guard by the kiss as he started at her wide eyed.

    "What was that?" He asked blushing. His nose caught the scent of the omelet burning on the pan and quickly flipped it over.

    "Are you in heat?" Val tried to hide the blush when he noticed Lexa walking into the kitchen.

    "However, I'm always in heat around you. Must be some kind of pheromone you give off." She laughs.




    Lexa smiles politely in greeting, but otherwise ignores the couple, focusing on her apple.

    "Purification of what?" Val asked confused. "Did you eat something that you didn't like?"

    He made a smaller omelet and passed it to Lexa. Val put a finger into his lips to shush her from the awkward topic around the child.


    "I didn't run off. I..didn't know what to do with you so I thought I go for a walk." His hand slipped over her's.

    "I know you hate hearing me lecture you. My mothers use to do that when I get hurt because they worried about me. I guess that rubbed off on me. I won't lecture you anymore...because I trust you know what you did wrong. Of course there's nothing that will stop you from doing it again because that is who you are. A troublemaker."

    She takes his hand and kisses it. "I am sorry."

    Azazel sighs. "I will try to refrain from getting in fights alone. I am not exactly used to having someone to worry about me, unless Val is around."

    "But enough depressing talk. What would you like to do? Shall we go out?" She pulls him down to her and kisses him. "Or stay here?"

    "I didn't have anywhere in mind. What else would we need for this house other then food." He looked around the house to see what else was missing but turned back and shrugged.

    "More chocolate? Even that is covered." Xhiero points to the two barrels of illegal chocolate.

    Susan frowns slightly, how could one man be so dense? She wonders if she should just straight up tell him what happened. But, it wasn't as if she had been a willing participant, and Sloan hadn't done it out of a sense of attraction. So, was it even really worth mentioning?


    He was just trying to irritate me. Besides, he'll probably never do it again...


    "Never mind." Susan says, smiling pleasantly.


    "We could always head into town and search for amusement there."

    "Y-You look, uh, very good in that. It-It is nyice.. I mean nice." Xhiero finally pried his eyes away from the mezmerizing sight in front of him and gaze at the floor. Something felt warm and moist trickling down his nose and lips. Swiping his thumb at it he noticed blood. Xhiero quickly covered it up with his hand.
