Vasani barks out a laugh. "What a switch."
She bows her head cordially, smirk still firmly in place. "I am Vasani Shepard. Captain of the Python and Pirate Queen of the Seven Seas. A pleasure to make your acquaintance. I am merely waiting out a group of men to leave town that didn't quite appreciate the way I play cards."
Eyeing Sloan a bit, she twirls her bottle. "You know, if you wish to get something off your chest. I will listen, being an unbiased party and all. Perhaps it will help lessen the load you are carrying on your shoulders."
Azazel grunts as she's flipped soundly onto her back. "That is usually true, but it seems I have met my match."

"There is nothing for me to unload onto you. I merely pissed a madwoman off and she punched me. Not the first time something like this happened." He turned to Vasani and grinned.
"How about a kiss on the injury to make it heal better."
Xhiero continue to hold onto her wrist and moved them above her head. His free hand brushed her hair from her face, tracing the lines of her face down to the corset. Xhiero's finger curves into the underside of the fabric and tugs at it to loosen it.
"I do love fighting battles with someone of equal powers. Makes everything much more exciting." He smiled and lowered himself to kiss her again. His body pressing against her's.

"You did mention you needed some entertainment, did you not?"
Xhiero took a moment to catch his breath after the battle. He rolled over and laid next to Azazel, resting his head on her shoulder.
" Azazel, the demon queen is much too strong for me to defeat. I am afraid I am now enslaved to her. What are you commands for me now, my lady? I will do my best to do as you wish." He picked up her hand and kissed it.

As they continue walking towards town, Lexa watches Susan curiously. Finally, she pulls away from Val and hands Susan a note.
Susan reads the note silently and suddenly turns beet red, crumpling it into a ball and shoving it deeply into a pocket.
"Because he was being a jerk, kid. No need to worry about it." She ruffles Lexa's hair with a strained laugh.
"What store should we visit first? Hmm?" Susan asks endeavoring to change the subject.

Xhiero glared at Azazel when his shirt slipped out of his hand. He narrowed his eyes at her and walked over to the drawer. Pulling out her maid apron and tying it on. Quietly retreating into the kitchen he starts pulling out pots and pans.
"What would you like to have for dinner, my love?"
"No, I don't do stories." Sloan frowned. "I can pull a book from the library and read it to you if you like. Or sing you a song that may cause you go to deaf?"
"What are you two doing? Girly gossips?" Val stared at them as they continued walking. His attention turned to Susan's question.
"Weren't we going to the bookstore or the library? Unless you have somewhere else in mind...that is child friendly."

"We just met and barely had the chance to know each other, love. Are you going to leave that fast?" Sloan chuckled but lowered his voice for their own safety.

Outside there's the sounds of footsteps and muffled voices. "But aren't you hiding from someone too? Like you said, we just met. No need to risk your neck."
