Lexa is about to put a board in place and glances over at Val. Eyes wide she drops the board and scurries backwards. She pulls out her notebook and scribbles hurriedly.

"Who knows. I got bored and started playing with things I shouldn't have. Not the first time this happened." He scoots even closer to Lexa and inspects her work.

Lexa eyes the newly childsized fox dubiously, she isn't exactly used to interacting with other children. But, she shrugs in response to his question and quickly writes a note in return.
[Something to do mostly. I am unused to having freedom, I have been looking for a way to fill the days. Besides, I enjoy being outside, it is peaceful, I was rarely allowed outside when I lived at the temple. And... I wanted something that belonged solely to me, that wasn't given to me by anyone else. Is that stupid?]
Lexa looks a bit embarrassed as she passes the note to Val. Turning her attention steadfastly to the board she is putting in place.

"There is nothing wrong with being selfish once in awhile. Sometimes it is encouraged for self sacrificing idiots like Xhiero and you. That's Azazel's term." He picked up a plank of wood and helped filled in the gaps.
"I enjoy the outdoors too. Sadly Susan doesn't really like nature."
Xhiero walked through the front door and heads straight for the bedroom. He leaves a trail of traveling pouches and armor before collapsing face first onto the bed.

Lexa nods as she secures another plank before pausing to write another note .
[If you wanted to be outside with Ms. Susan, couldn't you just ask her? She seems to do everything you want if you request it.]
She hops up and down a bit, trying to reach a spot that is just a bit too high.
Susan smirks as she puts the finishing touches on the device she has been staring at for the last few hours. Straightening up, she opens a sidedoor and watches as the locals bustle along the busy street, before she lights a cigarette and takes a long drag.
The difference between Azazel and I, is that when I go someplace to be alone, no one comes along to bother me.... Should I be pleased or offended by that?
With a shrug, Susan finishes her cigarette and slips back inside, heading to a different workbench and getting back to work.

"I rather she be someplace that doesn't irritate her. I am fine staying indoors or in the city. Sometimes I feel a little...homesick." Val helped lift Lexa up so she could reach a high place.

Xhiero frown and rolled out of bed. He moved her into a more comfortable position before cleaning up the mess of armor and bags on the ground.
"I'll go make you some soup." Xhiero said as he petted her head. He placed a heavy pouch onto the table next to the bed.
"Here's your monthly allowance for Hell." He pecked her on the cheek and disappeared into the kitchen.
Val let out a sigh.
"Thanks Lexa, I am sure I will find her eventually." He waved to her before bounding out of the forest with his weapons dragging on the ground. Val fumbled through is pockets for the sending stone.
