"No...everything is fine." He smiled to hide his weariness. Xhiero tilted his head back to kissed her before getting to retrieve the tray.

"Working mostly." Susan's response comes from the back of the lab. Her head pops out of what looks to be some kind of large engine, grease staining a cheek.

Azazel frowns and rolls back to lean against her pillows. "No,thank you. I am fine."

"Is there something wrong with me being a child?" Val scrunched his face and crossed his arms.
"I am very adorable in this form." He walks towards the direction of her head and looked around.

Azazel nods and continues her work for a bit until she sharpens every dagger within reach. She looks around the room with a sigh.
She climbs out of bed and heads to the window, throwing it open before climbing out to sit on the roof.

"Yes... Yes you are..." Susan sighs turning a bit red.
Locating her ladder, she crawls out of the engine and drops to the ground next to Val. Wiping her hands on the overalls that have temporarily replaced her labcoat.
"Yes, I was a bit bored. However, I had also received some work requests that I've been putting off because Azazel seems to dislike the idea of me building things in her home. So I purchased this place so that I can actually get some work done."

"I-I see." He said as he stared at how massive everything was. Val walked over to a corner of the room and sat down. Pull his weapons off of him so he neatly laid them down next to him.

"I know!" She says, brightening. "Why don't I show you around?!"
With that she grabs his hand and pulls him towards a series of doors and throws the first one open revealing a well decorated office.
"Since a decent amount of my business interactions seem to eventually result in people trying to kill me, I was always a bit reluctant to have meetings at Azazel's place. Now I can hold them without traveling all the way back to Son Tanusia!"
"I know!" She says, brightening. "Why don't I show you around?!"

Val nodded as he followed behind. Trying to keep up with her now that she was the one with longer legs.
"I still don't like the idea that you are alone and having people who want to kill you."

Susan nods and picks Val up carrying him to the next door, revealing a small kitchen, and then through the next door revealing a slightly larger comfortably furnished bedroom.
"So... It isn't as... large as Azazel's place, because it isn't really a home. But she seems really overwhelmed with the sheer number of people invading her property.... and while I can't make them leave.... I thought this way we could be out of her hair sometimes.... It doesn't have to be all the time.... I mean I didn't even install a full bar...."
She trails off looking embarrassed.

"Well...Son Tanusia was not built in a day. We still have time to add a bar." Val said as he dangled from her arms. He shifted into a fox so he was easier to carry.
"I suppose this will help Azazel out a bit. She won't have to deal with you pulling pranks on her all the time or an older brother to keep nagging her about her wrong doings."
He turned to look at the kitchen.

"I was thinking I'd just add the bar to the house I end up having built in the woods, since I can just wander down the street if I want to drink in town." Susan muses scratching Val behind the ears.
"And you may be wherever you like, darling. The only reason I bothered finding a place with a kitchen and a bedroom at all is because I assumed you'd follow me here at least occasionally."
She looks around the area with a slight frown.

After sitting on the rooftop for a while, Azazel catches a chill and slides back down the side of the house and into her bedroom window.

One of Azazel's arms snake out of her blanket burrito to pat Xhiero's arm with a freezing hand before quickly retreating back beneath the blankets.

"That woman..." he said as walks to the kitchen, staring up towards the counter.
"This might be harder then i thought..." Val huffed and pushed a stool over to stand on. He makes a plate full of sandwiches before trying to find a bottle of alcohol but failed too.
"She said there's a bar down the street.." He hopped off the stool and sneaked out of the place to look for some booze.
"That woman..." he said as walks to the kitchen, staring up towards the counter.

Susan grins broadly as she puts the finishing touches on the engine, pleased to finally be finished. Marching to the bedroom she slams the door open.
"Vaaaaal! Come admire how amazing I am!" She declares, frowning when she realizes Val isn't actually in the room.
Rolling her eyes, she pulls out her sending stone and speaks into it.
"Val, darling, where have you run off to?"

His hand wrapped around the neck of the bottle and shoved it inside his shirt. Val's eyes drifted to the next bottle. The temptation was strong. He shook his head and headed towards the exit.
