The closet door creaks open as a penguin waddles out. It looked around and finally spots who it was looking for. The creature slips a stack of paper onto the table next to the bed and disappears back into the closet.

Val effortlessly pakours his way towards the source of the shriek. Eventually reaching a portion of the alley that had widened exponentially.
Four men stand over an unconscious Susan, studying her with interest, a truck idles nearby.
"It was that easy? You just... grabbed her? She's ritch brat right, shouldn't she have.... security?" A somewhat nervous looking gentleman asks.
"Nah man, usually she goes everywhere with this pretty dude, but today she was just with some kid. Grabbed her right off the street, no problem." Another replies looking quite pleased with himself.
"Then lets load her onto the truck and contact her parents. Teach the Evensong Corporation not to treat small businesses like garbage!'
The other men nod in agreement, as one lifts Susan and tosses her over his shoulder.

"Hold it right there you punks! She's mine!" Val growled as he jumped off from the roof with his blade drawn. He tried to land on the man who had flung Susan over his shoulder.

Azazel growls and takes the papers back. "You scold me for not taking care of myself, but what about you?"
She angrily stomps over to her desk and puts the papers inside, locking the drawer before turning back to Xhiero. "You are not doing a single work related thing until you are better. And if anyone takes issue with that they can take it up with my axe."
She returns to bed and kisses Xhiero's forehead. "Now go back to sleep."

His eyes widen as she locked the paper away.
"I was skimming through it. There's no need to do that." Xhiero sigh and laid back down. He wrapped his arms around her when she returned to bed.

The four men simultaneously start laughing at the high pitched threat.
However, the man holding Susan finds his mirth cut short by the tiny ball of fury stabbing at him.
One strike misses and hits Susan for four damage (whoops!)
But the other hits true, causing the man to wince.
"Hey! The kid has a knife, get it off me!"
Another rushes forward and tries to pry Val off of his new perch.
