The hole leads into a small hallway, decorated with statues and paintings. The hallway branches off into two paths the left path seems to lead to the front doors, the path to the right leads deeper in.

Xhiero is fairly certain that Azazel's assertion is right, the statue is indeed one of Oghma. He also can't help but notice that the child is wearing the robes of the Oghma priesthood.

Favoring Azazel with another exasperated look, she points to the unfurled scroll on the wall. Oghma's holy symbol, because he is the god of Speech and Writing. She accepts the pen and parchment and writes.

A stone post rapidly ejects out of the floor with enough force to wrench the scythe out of Xhiero's hand. That would have hurt! As soon as the scythe is removed, the pillar returns to the floor.
