Azazel winces when Xhiero's scythe is wrenched away from him and pats his shoulder. She fishes in her bag for her spare axe and hands it to him. "It is no scythe, but better than being unarmed. We can convince Cyril to pay for a new one afterwards."
She reads Lexicon's note, "What do you need help with?" and turns to Susan. "Jetpack us across?"

Susan arches an eyebrow and looks back and forth between Xhiero and Azazel.
"I'm afraid the two of you are a bit heavy..."
Pressing a button the jet pack flies off and steaks itself to Azazel.

Azazel beefily flies the trio to safety! Success! Lexicon claps delightedly, but suddenly her eyes widen she motions for silence, and suddenly footsteps can be heard approaching the group. Most likely guards coming to see why a portion of the wall loudly crashed to the floor.

Xhiero picked up his scythe from the ground and attached it back onto his back. He let out a sigh of relief to be reunited with his weapon.
"Do you need this back?" He asked holding the axe she gave him towards her. "It is a shame I didn't use it yet."
He kept an eye towards the direction of the footsteps.
"Shall we confront them or hide?"

"I would confront them, however I do not think I can win their favor after we broke in and sneaked over a trap. Let us attempt to hide and see from there." Xhiero backed up against a dark area of the wall, trying to meld in with the darkness.

In focusing so hard on stealthing, Azazel misses the low hanging beam and smack her head. She yelps and bites out. "Son of a bitch!" The sound echoing through the empty halls.

"Who are you? What business do you have within these walls?" The guard questions as he draws his sword.
"DON'T QUESTION THEM! They've broken into our hallowed halls of knowledge! They cannot be allowed to live. Especially not with the girl missing!" The priest shrieks.
"But-"
"KILL THEM!"
The guard aims an attack at Azazel and Xhiero.
