"So many feelings... are people usually this full of... emotion?"
Susan nods as she takes another sip of her drink.
"Xhiero does not seem like he is capable of sap. He could probably pull of being suave though."
Suddenly a man walks up the the two, he seems nervous and his cheeks have a pink tint due to a mixture of inebriation and embarrassment. He walks up to Val and grabs his hands.
"Excuse me for saying this, but you are the most beautiful woman I've ever seen. I would be honored if you'd deign to dance with me just once."
Susan covers her mouth to keep from laughing
"How earnest"
Susan nods as she takes another sip of her drink.

Azazel takes the book and holds it between her hands and casts make whole. As she focuses on the book the pages replenish, the spine knits itself back together, and the leather takes on a shiny new gleam. She lets out the breath she was holding and hands the journal back to Xhiero.
Curious, she can't help but ask, "Does hell have a book mender or something of that nature?"

Suddenly a woman joins into the fray. She wraps her arm around Val's shoulder, slowly her fingers crawl upward to his head and pushes it into the side of her large assets.
"Nuh uh, hun. I think this gentleman might prefer to dance with a woman. Besides, I think we look more fitting together." She brush her hand through his white hair. Her free hand twirling a strand of silver hair around her finger.

He smiled as he took back his book.
"Thank you. You would be surprised that the underworld isn't all about burning, sins, and torture. We actually have towns and cities much like the living. Each region has its own culture as well. I could spend days talking about them, but tonight has been very tiring to me."
Xhiero opened the book and looked through it. Feeling bad that Azazel had just fixed his book, he was about to rip out more pages. He seem conflicted between two pages but ended up ripping out one. He held it towards her.
"I cannot repay you for fixing my book and this may not be of interest to you, but perhaps it would make your brother happy."

The poor man looks absolutely crestfallen and absolutely embarrassed. He looks down at his feet and starts anxiously kicking at the ground mumbling slightly.
"S-s-s-orry. I...I... I just though... " He seems to be so humiliated that he has lost the ability to move.

The man looks down at her and practically cries with relief at the sudden lifeline. He obediently follows as Susan gently guides him away from Val, her pleasant smile never fades. The drunk man's voice carries quite well through the room and their conversation can be heard despite their retreat.

Val didn't know if he should be relieved that Susan was able to point the nervous man away from him or that he was stuck with the overly touchy woman with large breasts.

"Aww, that is quite a shame. It is hard to come across demons up here, especially one's that are exotic such as you." She continues to play with his hair and leans closer to to his ear. "Not to mention, your kind can change gender at will. Who wouldn't want to experience the best of both worlds."
Val felt a chill go up his spine. He stood up, inching into the woman's personal space. He gave her a cold expression.

Susan is finding prying herself away from her new 'friend' to be more difficult than she had anticipated. He has rejected every woman she's introduced him to so far and seems unwilling to wander off by himself.

"I might actually get some rest. I will be in my room upstairs. It is located in the Del'Mar's attic when you wish to head back to Black Rose. Enjoy the rest of the party." Xhiero bowed to Azazel before heading back into the building and up to his room.

"But I think you've been hogging my date for quite a long time now. I am sure she has introduced you to quite a handful of lovely women that you can choose from. How about you gather the courage to talk to one of them."

Azazel picks up the paper and stares at it before closing her eyes and letting out a long sigh. "Damn that man. I wear a dress ONE TIME..." She shakes her head, but still sticks it in her boot with the other drawing from earlier in the night and goes back inside.

Val calmed down after Susan touched his arm. He blinked at the paper that Azazel passed to him.
"Ahh! I look cooler then I am." He laughed and tucked it away into his pocket with the other small paper. "Thanks Azi. What did you do to get him to give you more drawings." Val teasingly nudged his little sister.
"Of course I would be in a bad mood with those large things blocking my view of a lovely lady wearing a red dress."
