"Perhaps, I find something mildly satisfying about someone so pretty being jealous of little old me..." Susan laughs and wraps her arms around Val's neck.
"You don't need to go. Why am I even working on this? I have no real reason to fix it. The two who actually have a reason to get it fixed ran off to have fun. Maybe we should take a break and have some fun. I'm sure they won't notice." Susan grins wickedly.

"It is tempting...but I would never do such a thing." He nodded to her. "It was rather amusing to watch. Craze should be happy I don't do those things to her. Actually our sibling relationship is quite the opposite of your's. She is the overprotective one and likes to torture me."

Xhiero shrugged. "There's not much to do in a such a tiny body. Can't even go reap souls like this. Unless you have something else in mind, we might have to head back and get cradled to sleep."

Azazel sighs. "Maybe we will get lucky and Susan has fixed her damned remote by now."
She puts her hand on Xhiero's shoulder and looks at him solemnly. "Just so you know, as much as I like you, if Val comes at us with a blanket I am throwing you to the wolves and running."

He stared at the hand placed on his shoulder, twitching slightly at the contact but not as noticeable as before.
"If that is the case then I am going to stay here for awhile. You can go back and check to see if they are done." Xhiero stood up and starts to head out of the library.

Beyond the huge library door was a long hallway that was beautifully decorated in the Baroque theme except darker. He walked a long stretch of the hallway before turning around to look at Azazel.
"Why are you following me? I thought you wanted to go check on the remote. The portal is in the library." He returned to strolling down the hallway.
It took awhile before he reached a set of doors and pushed it open to enter. Leaving the door open for Azazel to enter if she wanted to. Xhiero was back in his older room, almost as large as the bar room at the inn. The interior was dark and decorated with black roses, skulls, weapons, and statues of dragons. The tiny boy made his way to a large bed that could fit multiple people and crawled on. He occupied a small corner of the bed and went to sleep.

Letting out a sigh she looks around and spots a couch and crawls onto it, laying down with her hands folded across her stomach and eventually falls asleep.

Susan begins blushing deeply as Val closes the door.
"Oh we're really going to... I... I was just... I hadn't anticipated...." She flails her arms helplessly before sighing.
"Damn it."
Grabbing him by the front of his shirt she kisses him deeply the wicked grin returning as she pulls away.
"Very well, teach me oh wise one."

Efficient. That would be a good way to describe Susan's participation, efficient. Now, however, she is quite flustered.
"Wow... that was... that... wow..." Staring at Val she blushes from head to toe. "I... I... s...should go work on fixing that machine!" She quickly redresses then scurries down the stares to the safety of the bar.
Still red, she stares blankly at the machine for a few minutes before placing a hand over her eyes.

Not to long after the children fell asleep. Dorian entered the room and pulled some blankets over them. He quietly left as he came.
The next day Xhiero woke up and slide out of bed. He walked to the bathroom to wash his face. Dorian was present in the room when he returned with breakfast for Azazel and Xhiero.
"Thank you, Dorian. If Azazel wishes to return to the bar, please escort her. I am afraid I might be a bit busy today." He dismiss the butler and walked over to his desk to look through a pile of papers.
Val blinked as Susan quickly got dressed and left the room afterwards. He laughed noticing the blushing and her loss of speech after the door closed.
"I am going to have to work harder to get her use to me." He smiled as he buried his face into a pillow to hide his blushing. Val finally got up and pulled on some clothes. Not the usual layers he always wore. Just a sleeveless shirt and a pair of pants.
"I probably shouldn't chase after her right away..." He ruffled his bangs and fell backwards on to the bed again. Val took a short nap to pass the time before he would bother her again. May be by then she had finished fixing the machine and they could talk in peace.

Pressing the button she suddenly shrinks, pressing again she grows, she repeats the process over and over again.
"Big! Small! Big! Small! Big!" Laughing with delight she looks around then pouts.
"Being amazing isn't as fun when no one is around to see it."
With a sigh she grabs another drink and starts on some paperwork.
"I did it!"

Susan jumps at Val's sudden appearance and drops her drink which spills all over her paperwork.
"Shit!" Pulling a handkerchief out of her pocket she attempts to rescue her papers while grumbling to herself.

"I didn't expect that reaction. I am sorry."

"I cannot help but feel that Azazel and Xhiero would be quite annoyed at being referred to as kids. Pity then, that they aren't here to hear you. Their play-date does seem to be running rather long. It is frustrating waiting, I really wanted to try this out on them..."
With a smirk Susan points her remote at Val.

"You won't be able to buy it with all the money and cookies you could offer. It has been here since my childhood." He carefully pushed the stack of papers into a bag and slide it over his shoulder.
