    "You don't have to engage in pillow talk if you do no want too. You can take a nap if you like. Of course Susan Evensong does not sleep." Val rolled his eyes. (Yes Val lacks the ability to make his ears and tails disappear but he can give himself gold eyes.)

    He scooted closer to Susan as she was going off about emotions and placed a hand on her cheek and moved her face closer to his. Val kissed her on the lips.

    "That is what love is. No one can predict love or control it. Now you know why some people find love as a source of power."

    "I would be afraid if she starts eating people, but thankfully she doesn't. I am afraid there is not much to tell. She's just threatens anyone she suspect of stealing me away from her. I have no actually seen her murder anyone."

    He looked off into the distance recalling something of the past.

    "She and Mimi didn't get along in the beginning. There was a day, we recently opened the bar and Mimi walked in. The instant she saw me, she ran up and grabbed my ass. That's how that rule came onto the board."

    Xhiero pointed at a small sign hanging above the bar listing rules on how to behave. The very last one seemed to have been scribbled on. It read, "DO NOT touch Xhiero."

    Azazel opens her eyes and turns to look in the direction Xhiero was pointing. Her jaw drops a little before she bursts out in a fit of laughter. "I never saw that. I may have broken that rule a few times, but at least I never went as far as to grope you." She lets out a few more chuckles.

    "I doubt anyone notices that plaque on the wall anymore. Luckily for you Craze isn't here. I don't even know where she has been but I admit I feel more at ease when she isn't here." He walked to the bar and grabbed some drinks. Xhiero handed Azazel a glass of chocolate milk while he sipped a cup of green tea.

    "I am curious. Do you drink chocolate milk regardless if you are eating something with chocolate in it already?" He looked at the glass of chocolate milk he had handed to her. "Would you prefer regular milk with these chocolate?"

    "I hate spicy food. Could be that it is the opposite of sweet. I also hate cheaply flavored things." he shudders at the image of chunky, fake cheese over a plate of chips. Xhiero put his empty cup down and leaned back against the cough. He folded his arms over his chest and started at the wall in front of him.

    "What do you plan on doing now that your brother and your friend are busy being love birds? You seem to be...more interactive with me."

    Azazel looks over at Xhiero as his sentence trails off to find him alseep and she quietly chuckles. "You are not a very good listener if you fall asleep mid conversation."

    She pulls a blanket from the back of the couch and drapes it over him and takes the cup of tea from his hand, setting it on the table, before heading upstairs to her own room and going to sleep.

    Val blinked when she fell asleep on his shoulder. He gently lifted her off and laid her down on the bed. Carefully tying the yukata closed before pulling a blanket over her. Val laid down next to her, keeping himself out side of the blanket and put on arm over her.

    "She's going to flip when she wakes up again." He sigh and dozed off too.

    As the night progresses, Xhiero laid down on the couch. To lazy to walk all the way to his room.

    Susan awakens and jumps when she realizes how close she is to Val. Or tries to anyways, she finds that she can't make it very far while pinned by Val's arm.


    Why does this happen so frequently? She ponders. And is it going to continue happening?


    Slowly, she manages disentangle herself from Val. Locating a piece of paper she scribbles a hasty note.



    Val,
      It would seem that you've managed to bore me to sleep again. Bravo. 
    Didn't want to wake you. Locate me when you wake up.                           -Susan



    Returning to her own room she locates her clothing and dresses quickly. Examining Val's yukata she wonders what to do with it.


    "Do the robots offer laundry services?" She muses out loud before opting to simply fold the thing for now.


    Bored she begins searching for Azazel, ending her search in front of her room.


    "I should probably knock..... But I won't."


    Susan wanders in and picks a wall a safe distance away to lean against before lighting a cigarette.


    "Do all demons sleep this late?"

    As the door to her room opens, Azazel's eyes snap open. In the blink of an eye she pulls out a dagger throws it, the blade embedding itself in the wall next to Susan's head. She rolls out of bed to see who the intruder was to find Susan leaning against the wall. "Oh. What are you doing here?"

    She walks over to the wall and yanks the dagger out of the wall and puts in back in its sheath on armor.
