    The box contains a pipe similar to his current one but covered with intricate carvings of foxes frolicking about.

    "I... I don't know if a fox demon would find that offensive, if so I apologize."

    Susan still hasn't looked up from her paperwork.

    The tiefling bandit, Crumnley Woodwell, returns to Blackrose Inn, gripping a torn piece of newspaper. He greets Xhiero, than makes his way upstairs.

    He knocks on Susan's door, and turns the handle.

    "Susan, if you are finally back we need to talk--"

    He stares for a moment at the shenanigans going on within her room, and immediately closes the door again.

    "I'll be downstairs."

    He returns to the bar proper, sits down, and orders himself some form of hard liquor.

    "I'll treasure it forever because you gave it to me." Val smiled and nuzzled the pipe. Noticing someone opening the door his ears perked up.

    "Looks like you have company. I'll stay here...but if they drag you away. You better take me with you." He frowned.

    Susan twitches with irritation at Crumnley's incredibly poor timing.

    "I suppose... I should tend to that..."

    Almost distractedly she picks up the bell and fiddles with it.

    "You can get up, if you want, or stay in bed. I will not keep you bound here. What if the place caught fire?"

    She smirks and kisses him before heading out of the room.


    Heading downstairs she gives Crumnley a dirty look.

    "Let me make this clear. You saw nothing. What the hell do you want?"

    The bandit takes the newspaper, and stuffs it out of sight in his coat pocket.

    "Ms. Evensong, the truth is I am here to.. ask your permission."

    Crumnley nods at the bartender who just brought him his drink.

    "Thank yo-- Wait what the hell, Azazel? I didn't even see you there, good gods you scared me. Since when do you work here?"

    Crumnley takes a look at his beverage, and squints a bit.

    "Th'hell is it?"

    Susan smirks but then rolls her eyes as Crumnley gets distracted. With a sigh she snaps her fingers.

    "Hey, focus focus! What do you want?

    For a moment, the tiefling gets a worried scowl on his face.

    "No, I want to talk about your relatives, actually. Susan, I.. I guess I want your permission to rob Fernando's personal share of the Evensong Corporation's wealth."

    Crumnley scowls at the glass before him, and shrugs. He takes a gulp regardless.

    "Aziiii-chan! Look what Susan got for me!" He waved the pipe like a little kid in front of Azazel.

    Xhiero sighed at Azazel serving Crumnley a drink.

    "I hope that wasn't poison or some toxic cleaning fluid."

    Taking a look at Val's new pipe, Azazel pats him on the shoulder. "She got you a present? How kind of her. It looks finely crafted." She tosses a smirk at Susan over Val's shoulder.

    "As with all my jobs, I split the take evenly. And both you and my sources know that Fernando Evensong has plenty to share with us.

    However, the idiot sadly has competant security advisors, and we will need more of a complete party in order to complete the job. I don't have a plan yet, but I will soon."
