    "I only get you bloody Maries if you agree to eat brea-" He sudden felt his body moved towards Susan and pressed his lips onto her's. Val blushed at the sudden command and quickly pulled away after it was over. He stumbled and fell backwards, hitting his head against the side of the bed.

    "Ow...I think the command is to be used when I go berserk." He pouted at Susan.

    "What would I do with it if you gave it back. It would be useless because I wouldn't fit into that frail thing and..." He cut his sentence off and looked away. "The chest piece isn't meant for men."

    "It suits you more then anyone else I know."

    Azazel looks down at her chestplate and chuckles. "I suppose that is true."

    A little mechanical bird flutters in through the mail slot and lands in front of Azazel. She removes the missive and reads it, scowling. "God forsaken magic." She crumples the letter and tosses it on the counter before sending the bird back on its way.

    "I did not realize you would react so... negatively... and attempt to escape. I am sorry." She kisses him softly before standing.


    "However, I will abuse this bell once more today." She holds up the bell and commands. "Stay in bed."


    "You need to rest."

    "I wasn't prepared that's all. I would never escape from you." Val pouted as he was commanded to stay in bed. The fox demon laid down and pulled the covers over him.

    "Meanie...but I still love you." He nuzzled the pillow until he was comfortable and drifted off to sleep.

    "Nevermind." Shaking her head, Azazel tries to change the subject. "So, what are your plans for the day? More souls to collect?"

    He looked at the tea set left on the counter.

    Azazel scoffs when he mentions babysitting her, but moves to the tea set and starts mixing the powder and water as she was taught while she waits for water to boil.

    "I am sure there is one. Remember that night when you danced so well in a purple dress." He tried not to laugh at the image and kept his mouth shut, instead having a goofy face on.

    "Let's hope those two don't cause anymore trouble for awhile." Xhiero noted towards Susan and Val.

    Val opened one eye to check on what Susan was doing. Paperwork...always paperwork. He rolled over on his back and sprawled his limbs out.

    "Ahhhhh, I am so hungry and thirsty. If only someone could get me a warm bowl of soup and a cup of warm tea."

    "Oh you poooor thing." Susan says in a monotone voice sounding almost robotic. "I shall go get you some soup and tea."

    Noticing that the box she launched at him remains untouched she picks it back up.

    "Oh? You did not want your gift? Then I shall throw it away on my way to the kitchen."

    Smirking she strolls out of the room and heads to the kitchen, only to return ten minutes later with a bowl of soup and a cup of tea, the box is conspicuously absent

    She sets the tea and soup on a small table next to the bed.

    "Happy?"

    With a sigh Susan pulls the box out of a pocket and drops it in Val's lap. Package delivered she retreats to the other side of the room and picks the paperwork back up.

    "It is funny, I know exactly what sort of things to get Azazel and Xhiero, and yet, I have no idea what would suit your tastes. Perhaps it is a failure as a girlfriend on my part."

    She says this while steadfastly staring at the paperwork refusing to make eye contact. She seems almost... embarrassed...
