"Don't flirt with my sister! She already has someone!" Val starts pounding on Aden's back. The demon backs away and pulls out a piece of cloth to covers his nose and mouth.

"Rope it is!" She tosses the rope into the crate.
Etheyl jumps as the newcomer makes his entrance. Val definitely seemed to know him, but...did she...? She glances back at one of the guild charters pinned to the wall, rife with additions and graffiti, then looks back at him. Nope. Definitely a new guy.
She narrows her eyes at the man with a sly, knowing grin. Something about the overbearingly charming way he carried himself. Total conman. But she knew plenty of conmen that were still good people...or at least mostly good people. Heck, she married one.

"I'm not a stingy man, I won't ask for much when comes to such cheap information. "As far as coin goes, I have that in spades, but I don't have any assurance that your stories will be worth my precious gold. After all, a rich person who constantly throws away their money will not stay rich for long."
Grinning she orders herself a drink and takes a long sip.
"If you want food, you should barter more with your 'precious fox', I'm sure you've noticed his talent for cooking along with his other... assets." Throwing back her head she laughs and takes another swig of her drink.

Sitting back in his chair he sizes her up. "I do humbly apologize, it seems I've made the terrible mistake of judging you prematurely. You are not so easily fooled." Leaning back he stares up at the roof. "As a token of my new found respect I shall tell you one story, free of charge, and I'll let you be the judge to see if my stories are worth anything." He looks back at her, head resting on his hands, and smiles, "So my dear,wealthy lady what would you like to hear about Foxy?"

Aden fights back a chuckle. "I will not lie, the fact that you are wealthy has peaked my interest greatly but the fact that you are not so gullible is what really changed my interest."

He takes a sips of his juice. "Besides, I could already tell that you were wealthy before our little chat began. I do have an eye for these kind of things, you know. You brought it up and so I continued with it."
He's silent as he sits back in his chair and thinks. "I have many stories so where should I begin...," He laughs quietly to himself. "It seems fitting that I should start from our first mission."
"It wasn't that long ago," he pauses to glance at Susan, "well to a human it probably was."
"I normally don't work with others, easier to avoid betrayal that way, but there was this mansion I wanted to break into; can't really remember the reason why though. Anyway, that mansion had a lot a security and I didn't feel to comfortable going in alone; basically I wanted a scapegoat if things went bad. That's when I meet an overly to eager fox to start out his career in thieving, the perfect sacrifice but he wasn't, far from perfect actually. "
Once again he pauses to smile at the memory. "As I was training Foxy to get ready for the mission I took a liking to him. A stupid move in all honesty but he's one damn good looking fox. Anyway, we managed to sneak into the mansion without being detected, which wasn't easy with Foxy being so clumsy. As we were about to enter the building Foxy spotted something shinny and was convinced that it was valuables. So like the idiot he is, he shouted excitedly for me to see it. It was rocks. Very shiny rocks. That's it. Nothing of value at all."
"Without listening to me he started to scoop up the rock, all while I was telling him to move his ass, but of course he wouldn't budge until he had them all. Not long after we were spotted and arrows started to rain down upon us, it was a very stressful situations, if you can imagine."
"I was going to leaving. I should have left him, he was after all the idiot who got me into such a situation, but for some reason I couldn't. Eventually I got desperate enough and pulled on his damn tail, he did not like that at all but it seemed to be the trick to knock some sense into him."
"Somehow or another we managed to get away from there with our lives. As you can imagine I was beyond pissed at the idiot. After I caught my breath I was ready to tell his ass off but before I could I was presented with this dazzling, triumphant smile. And before I could say anything he presented me the rocks and started to proclaim that we were rich. After that all my anger just washed away, it's hard to stay angry at the dumb, innocent fox."

Wiping tears of laughter from her eyes she takes another swig of her drink and studies Aden.
"It sounds like the two of you have a great time together. Perhaps, I'll be less concerned for his safety knowing he works with someone who cares about him so much..." Arching an eyebrow she continues. "... Worrying about his chastity around you though, that is another matter entirely... I may be slightly jealous..."
She muses thoughtfully before perking up.

He looks back at Susan, with some bitterness. "You do not have to worry about Foxy's chastity. He's committed to you and I will never force myself on anyone." The bitterness is gone and is replaced with a smirk. "Though, you must forgive me for trying, I'm not one to accept defeat so easily."

She favors him with an amused grin before pulling out her remote and pressing a button, quickly teleporting to the other side of the room.
"I too, am a fan of a quick exit. However, building such a device does take time, effort, and materials. So the trade wouldn't be at a 1 to 1 ratio. I would need several stories in exchange for such a device."
