"Talking is fine. I much prefer that over deafening silence. I do humbly apologize for the sour mood, I'm not normally like this. I'm not sure what came over me but it has passed."
Aden taps his chin as he thinks. "To fix this sour mood I should share another funny story but of which to tell? Oh, I know I should talk about the time he flirted-" he stops to glance at Susan, "On second thought I probably shouldn't tell that story to his girlfriend. How about I just continue with the last story?"
"So after the fiasco of the mansion bust I was determined to get away from Foxy. In my eyes he was far more trouble than he was worth, despite his pretty looks. I immediately left the town, we were staying, at to get es far away from him and a few people I managed to piss off. And I thought that was that but only for a few short hours later he showed up at my camp site clueless as to why I left so suddenly."
"I spent the next few days trying my best to avoid him but he was a determined son of a bitch. At my wits end I made a deal with him if he could get the better of me in one week I would make him my partner on my next heist. There was no way he could get the better of me and he didn't but that didn't make it a smart plan, far from it actually. That began one of the most annoying weeks of my life."
"He tried to get the better of me with childish pranks, seriously. I can't tell you how many times he tried to prank me with a bucket of water. I have no idea why he went for such innocent, childish pranks but I guess I should be grateful. So at the end of the weak Foxy tried about everything he could think of to get me and of course failed miserably." He stopped as he recalled a particular funny failed prank.
"At the end he got completely desperate and started throwing eggs at me (none of which found their intended target); oh and just a warning I'm completely against wasting food. Anyway I got fed up with the egg throwing and was on my way out of town when I meet up with some thugs. I was going to pass them with ease but sure enough that idiot showed up, threw an egg at me, on instinct I dodge, and by luck the egg hit one of the thugs, and not just any thug, oh no, their leader. And to make the situation worse the idiot loudly proclaimed to the whole town that he would get me and the thugs took it a bad way, of course."
"So there I found myself in the middle of a fight, once again caused by Foxy. I may be quick and skilled with a dagger but," he paused to gesture at himself, "I'm no brawler as you can see. I avoids fight as best as I can, and I'm pretty damn good at it, expect for when Foxy is involved. Their threats were almost as bad as their odor but I had found myself pined but Foxy and all his muscles had come to my aid and made short work of those fools."
"In all honesty I should have left him, he was the one, who started the fight, after all, but I couldn't leave. Maybe I fell for him a little that day, he did look damn cool and majestic." He chuckles to himself and watches for any changes in Susan's expression. "So after his stunning display of brawn I took him on as my partner again, but that time I made sure he knew what money was. And as you know that was a complete waste of time."
Aden finishes the last bit of his juice and ponders if he should get more. "And there you have it. Once again I found myself in trouble because of Foxy and in the span of less then one month too."
