Unsurprisingly, this library contains many bookshelves. Zieffar and Rin may have discovered very little of use in their study of the symbols, but at least they know what they look like now.

Some shelves are marked with a sword, some a sheild, two are marked with the unfurled scroll, and several are not marked at all.

After a few minutes of arguing and bickering and playful banter, Zieffar finally gestures his party to stand back. He approaches one of the bookshelves marked by a scroll and stares at one of the arcane etched books.

He casts MAGE ARMOR upon himself, and readies his SHIELD spell just in case.

The wizard than takes his cane (which doubles as his arcane focus), and prods it the book.

Azazel leans against a bookshelf and watches Zieffar bolster up his magical defenses. When he touches his tome, she casually reaches behind her and pulls at the other scroll marked book.

While Azazel's book makes a satisfying clicking noise, Zieffar's does not, perhaps it needs to be pulled instead of poked with a damned magic stick.

As soon as flesh touches the book, the other books in the room begin to rustle with excitement. It feels as if they are calling out to the party begging to be picked up and examined.

Everyone successfully resists the urge to take a look inside a book! Levar Burton would be ashamed!

Now that one switch has been flipped, the floor in the center of the room seems to have sunk slightly.

Azazel, feels a slight tingle in her marked hand, and a has a sudden sense of euphoria.

Zieffar goes to pull the book, and is forced to yank his hand back as the book immediately burns him. It would seem the book does not wish to be pulled by him for some reason.

Rin notices, that nothing really seems to be changing as the floor sinks, however, the books seem to be growing more desperate.

The book makes a satisfying clicking sound and Azazel is hit by another wave of euphoria, she feels almost... drunk.

The floor sinks completely, revealing a staircase heading downwards.
