The fireball began to burn the ship's sail, preventing them from advancing any further. A group of mages rush out onto the wall to take over. Other soldiers began to fire cannonballs at the ship that are now sitting ducks.
A loud cry rings through out the kingdom as an undead dragon swoops over the city. It unleashes a cone of shadow fire from its mouth at the army gathered at one of the gates. They are immediately burn from the flames and collapse to death. Shadowy figures emerge from their corpse and turn towards the castle.

To...completely subvert you...would deprive him of a mortal soul." She looks at Lexa. "There's something important about that. We see things so much differently than a God. I think, whether or not he has...noticed it, what he needs is you."
"You're what binds him here. Physically, through your body, but I like to believe your views and perspectives and...all that...are just as important. Maybe I'm naive, but why else would a God choose a sentient vessel? You've been burdened with this destiny, but it really boils down to the fact that you're in it together, and he's the one that made it that way."

They make it out of the cave safely. You realize everyone had left the island. Sloan pushed himself off of Azazel and takes a moment to catch his breath.
"You know what, love...I thought the black market life was harsh, but being a good person is far worse." Sloan waved his ship over. Once they boarded the ship and sailed towards the commotion. It stopped a safe distance away. Sloan grabbed Azazel by the wrist and leads her towards an area of the deck.
"Look, I like you very much, darling. Even a man has his limits. This is the last time I am helping you in this battle. I hope this makes us even, love." He snaps his finger as a group of orc men grabbed Azazel and shoved her into a very very large canon. The drow peeks into the cannon and rolls a few potion bottles towards her.
"Might want to drink that just in case it..." He said before disappearing out of sight. A minute later Azazel hears a match being lit and KA BOOM. She flies towards the kingdom but lands a bit short into the water just before land.
Val shrug.
"Could be worth a try...." Val looked around and starts dashing towards a tall building.

The dragon continues to breath shadowy flames upon the city. Whoever dies within its flames are resurrected as shadows.
Val grinned as he pulled out a rope and the grappling hook. Throwing it around the dragon's wing, he tries to tie one wing closed.

Losing control of flying the dragon crashes towards the town center. It's health halved from the fall. It struggles to get up.
