The knight advances towards Azazel, his hand raised towards her. A ghostly, skeletal hand latches onto Azazel. Her body feels a strong chill of death and takes damage from it.

Azazel grits her teeth against the cold. She reaches out and grabs the death knight and ignites it with fire. Afterwards she dances back and through the door, into the hallway.

Etheyl gives a little chuckle as well. "Well, maybe she could at least kick softer."
Etheyl listens carefully as Lexa speaks, masking the rising frustration she felt as her suspicion was confirmed. Her impression of this god was becoming increasingly...tense. But the girl was so tied up in him; Etheyl could not hate him without hating a part of her. So she didn't.
Etheyl quietly stands when Lexa goes silent. A soft throw blanket materializes as Etheyl kneels down and sits beside her. Scooting close, Etheyl wraps the blanket around the two of them and pulls Lexa in for a hug, guiding her head to rest on her own shoulder.
"Sweetheart, I don't know how, but I--we--will help you find that balance. We will help you both fulfill your Destiny, but He can't have all of you."

Val stepped through the portal to the other side. He looked around at the room before him. It looks like a council was in session.
"Um...Please remain calm...but we come bearing news of a potential attack on the kingdom. This is Black Rose right? If not then it is none of your worries." He looked around to try and find a familiar face, maybe Craze.
The council continue to stare at Val as if it is not out of the norm.
"Her majesty needs to stop connect our doors to other realms..." A man in the back sighs. Dorian who was standing near one of the doors quickly rushed over to Val.
"If your message is true, I can handle things here. Although with the queen and prince gone...we will need help fighting this war." the old man looks at Val and Susan distress. He bows to them and turn back to the council.
Val looked at Susan. "Our job here is done. Shall we go look for Azi?"
The death knight does not seem to be harmed by her touch. Instead it seems to have healed his injuries. He watches as she danced out of the room and slowly marched after her.
A hand reached out and covered Azazel's mouth, pulling her towards the side of the hall.
"They are about to set out. We need to get out of here. Did you find him?" Sloan whispered. He was fidgeting as his eyes kept darting up and down the hall. At the sound of footsteps, he pulled her into one of the rooms. A guard walk= towards the room where Azazel had escaped from. There was silence before the sound of screams erupted the hall and a nasty crunching noise.

Lexa tenses again, seemingly unsure of how to process this level of affection and physical contact. Eventually she sighs and allows Etheyl to guide her, it is her dream after all.

Azazel pulls Sloan's hand away from her mouth. "Not yet. I got attacked by the dick of a death knight out there."
She listens to the sounds in the hall and runs through her options. "Should I kill it? I might be able to track Xhiero, but I would be vulnerable." She looks over to Sloan for his opinion.

As Val and Susan left the castle and walked across the moat towards the city, they hear the bell to alert the town to go into lock down. Groups of the army march out towards the exterior of the city walls.
"We should follow them. Better to find Azi near the walls then in the center of the city."
The death knight walks down the hallway and stops outside the room where Sloan and Azazel were hiding. The suit of armor turned and stares at Sloan. His hand raised to cast a spell upon the drow.
"Kill. Her."
He turned his head forward and continue to march out of the cave.
A crown of jagged iron appear on Sloan's head. Madness shown in his eyes as he grinned at Azazel. Two daggers shoot out from his sleeve and aims towards Azazel's chest.

The death knight turned to Sloan, commanding him to cast Darkness. The hall is shrouded in darkness. As it slowly disperse, the death knight is gone.
Azazel make a constitution save.
Val and Susan make it to the wall that protects the city from the outside. In the distance they can see a fleet of ships approaching land.
