The crown shatter from Val's head as he blinked at the group.
"Ehh? What happened? Did I do things I wasn't suppose to do?"
The death knight takes the blow from Azazel's attack, taking a few steps back before crashing onto the ground unconscious.

Azazel finds some rope and binds the death knight's hands and feet. Steeling herself, she pulls off the knight's helm.

"I see." Val frowned. He put his sword away and watched Azazel bounded up the Death Knight.
Upon removing the helm, it is in fact Xhiero. He appears paler then usual with dark circles under his eyes. The cold aura still lingers about him.

Azazel smoothes his hair away from his face and cradles his cheek in her hand. "Stupid fool. Always getting yourself kidnapped."
She looks over her shoulder at Val and Susan, and shakes her head. "Can one of you find me Dorian or Craze?"
Turning back, her back stiffens and she smacks Xhiero to wake him up.

The punch does not seem to affect Xhiero. He must be too exhausted and injured to wake up.
"Roger!" Val saluted to them and makes a mad dash across the city and up the mountain to the castle.
About an hour later, a small group on horseback and a carriage arrives to pick them up.
"I am terrible sorry for the wait. We cannot thank you enough for your help." The old man sighed. "The enemies have retreated, but we have much to do."
He gesture for the guards to carry Xhiero back to the castle.
"Let us return to the castle so you can rest up."
[The group is driven to the castle.]
"Please make yourselves at home. We will repay you for your help as soon as things are back in order."
They are all shown to vacant rooms to rest.

Susan spends several minutes staring at Azazel, clearly having an argument with herself in her mind, before she finally gives up and hugs the woman.
"I... am not good at this. But... if you need someone to talk to you know where to find me.... It... It is going to be okay."
Awkwardly pulling away, Susan darts into the room she is sharing with Val and gives him an odd look.
"This is an eerily familiar feeling."

"I cannot say for certain, my dear." The old man replied to her with a sad expression. He pats her hand reassuringly. "We will do our best to return him back to normal. You've been through a lot today. Please go get some rest."
He gave her a weak smile before excusing himself.
Val wrapped an arm around Azazel and pulled her towards her room.
"Ahh don't worry about, Azi. I am sure everything will be fine. He will be back to normal before you know it!" Val smiled at his little sister. "It is past your bed time. Off to bed with you." He nudged her into the bed and tucked her in.

"Of course, you control yourself well ever since that day your bloodlust has never once been a problem. Yet, that moment I first realized you didn't remember me, caused me to have the strongest emotional reaction I've ever had before or since, so you'll have to forgive me for it leaving an impression. After all, you are my first.... Well my first everything... Even more than that you are everything to me... or at least this is the sappy, embarrassing, heartfelt stuff I'd be telling you if you weren't FUCKING ASLEEP YOU ASS!"
Letting out an irritated growl, Susan begins pacing the room. Finally, she.collapses into a chair and starts flipping through some paperwork.
"This is just a sign that I should never actually tell you that...." She mutters before dozing off in the chair.

Azazel doesn't sleep.
As soon as Val leaves her room and she hears his door click shut, she slides out of bed. Moving to her window and looks out over the kingdom with a scowl.
She starts removing her armor and leaves it on a pile on the floor along side her axe. Heading to the window, she climbs out on to the roof and down to the ground. She slips through the kingdom, avoiding or ignoring everyone and heads into the wilderness.
In the early hours of the morning she returns, her arms laden with carcasses of bears, wolves, and other manners of beast. She drops them at the feet of the kitchen staff who jump at the sight of her, covered in blood and countless claw and bite marks its a wonder she made it back at all.
Azazel revels in their fear and grins at them, her teeth the only white in a sea of red. Without a word, she returns to her room. She washes the blood from her person before laying on her bed.

Etheyl tightly closes her eyes. Bloody...existentialism. Bloody...destiny....
A shaky sigh makes its escape. "I can't even pretend to understand this. Maybe I'm being selfish. But the idea that you're just a...tool doesn't sit well with me. Destiny can't just...use you and throw you away. Why would it create you just to put you through all this pain?"
Etheyl rubs her face with her free hand. "Maybe I just...lack faith. But I've known you...maybe less than a week...and I already..." She trails off, unsure if continuing her sentence would hurt Lexa more than help. "You've been through so much and have such a good heart, and I want to see you be able to live happily and safely and...all that. I think that's why I want to--need to--help complete this destiny of yours. In the hope that you will finally find some peace in life. That you can find other reasons to live."
Etheyl's brow furrows even more. "If you don't think that's in the cards for you, my instinct is to fight it. At least...at the end. Fight for your right to live after destiny has its way."
"But if you don't want that...I will find a way to accept it. I will respect your faith and find my own."
Etheyl manages to look up, and smiles sadly at the Lexa.
