After a few hours of brutal digging, you uncover a new entry way behind the right eye of the skull. Hopefully this is the right one, ehh, ehh?
Before you lies an unusual tunnel; bright brilliant colors are seen everywhere, the stones and pigments undimmed by the passage of decades. The floor of the corrider is a colorful mosaic of stone, with a distinct, winding path of red tiles about two feet wide. The ceiling is twenty feet high, and the hall twenty feet wide as well. The walls are covered in frescoes, tapestries and paintings. The hall itself continues down for quite a ways, beyond the reach of torches and dark vision.
If you want more precision in how you traverse in the dungeon, include roughly how many squares (5 feet) or how many feet you travel. It also can even help to include indicators such as, travelling on the right, left, or middle side of the hall, or any other descriptive words such as those.
None of this is required, just an option if you really, really wanna be precise.

Azazel heads into the hall and studies the mosaic on the floor. "The path is either safe or certain death."

"Forward march!" Sophia orders and walks through the hall in the middle with no hesitation. Droop follows a few steps behind.

The party stops as Azazel falls in to a false floor trap! She takes 5 DAMAGE from the fall, 7 DAMAGE from the spikes below, and 24 DAMAGE from the poison that coats the spikes! She is also poisoned for one hour!
The fox demon now lies at the bottom of a (fairly shallow) ten foot pit. Climbing out shouldn't be too much trouble.

Try as she might, Susan doesn't seem to spot any other floor traps, though this does leave her uneasy. She does notice a few things, however.
First, the hall still continues far down, and you cannot yet see the end of it amidst the dark. The frescoes are very intricate, and two stand out:
One fresco seems to depict two jackal-headed humans painted in such a way it appears that they are actually holding a bronze chest.
A painting over Azazel's trapped pit depicts an image of an iron door which evidently confines some kind of horrid creature, indicated by large scaled hands grasping bars on its small window.
She also notices that the mosiac below her actually hides a message of some kind! The section below you reads,
"... but night's good color is for those of great valor. If shades of.."

"ACERERAK CONTRATULATES YOU ON YOUR POWERS OF OBSERVATION. SO MAKE OF THIS WAHTEVER YOU WISH, FOR YOU WILL BE MINE IN THE END NO MATTER WHAT!
Go back to the tormentor or through the arch,
and the second great hall you'll discover.
Shun green if you can,
but night's good color for those of great valor.
If shades of red stand for blood the wise..."
