    Azazel grins broadly. "I am a terrible person." She laughs and follows Xhiero into the store.

    She wanders around picking out various articles of clothing. Xhiero was indeed correct about the store here catering to her style far better than the stores on the mortal realm. Arms laden with clothes, she heads up to the counter to pay.

    Afterwards she goes looking for Xhiero in the men's section. "I am finished whenever you are ready. Are you getting anything?"

I always wondered how I survived, I'm not the most durable. It seemed improbable." The words spill out rapidly as she looks anywhere but at Val.

    "It would seem that...that when I die they.... replace me with a... a... clone"

    He turned around to look at her as the words trailed off. Xhiero lifted her chin up and kissed her.

    "Grocery shopping would be nice so you won't starve at home." Xhiero rounded a corner and immediately found a busy marketplace. Quickly browsing each stand and selecting produce and ingredients. He paid for the supplies and returned to Azazel.

    "All done." He grinned. "Let's head home."

    "That must be why you have multiple nightmares. They were flashbacks of the moments before you..." He sighed and wrapped his arms around her. Val pulled her close and held her. His hand stroking Susan's head.

    "I am glad I still have you. It would be a crueler fate if you were gone forever or do not remember who I am." He bit his bottom lip and leaned towards her. Val brushed his lips on her's.

    "I love you...no matter what. Don't let this hinder our relationship. You are still you." He closed his eyes and kissed her passionately.

    Once the pair had made it made it back home, Azazel takes both of their bags of clothing to put away, leaving Xhiero with the food. She smirks at her purchases from the lingerie store and stuffs them into the back of one of her drawers before organizing their new wardrobe.

    She changes into some fresh clothes and goes back downstairs to the kitchen, taking a seat on the counter. "So, now what? I think the house is officially finished."

    Returning the kiss, Susan clings to him for a moment before pulling away slightly.
    "I have so many.... feelings right now." Susan jokes with a laugh. "Relief being a major one..."

    "What were you afraid of?" Val looked at her with concern.

    "I do seem like the most responsible man, but you can talk to me about these things."

    Xhiero remain in the kitchen, stocking the pantry with the food they bought. He gives the kitchen a pleased look when he was done.

    "I am not sure. What would you like to do in our new home?" His smile growing even wider. "Ahh, it is so peaceful and quiet."

    "I would not think of you differently. I don't think there is anything you would do that will make me think of you differently...unless you run off with someone else."

    He rest his forehead onto her's and nuzzled his nose against her's

    "Let's put out those flames of anger." Val smiled and lifted her off the couch. He pulled her to the bar and handed her a bottle.

    Xhiero looked at Azazel trying to think of something. He rubbed his finger against his chin thinking.

    "I am not sure. I rarely get asked this." His brows furrow. Finally he shakes his head.

    "You should surprise me."

    "Then we would just end up doing what I want." Azazel frowns at him before getting a determined glint in her eyes. "Today's mission is to make you be entirely selfish and do nothing for other people. You never do anything for yourself."

    She points at Xhiero, "Stay." Hopping off the counter she heads for their bedroom.


    Returning a couple minutes later, Azazel curtsies before Xhiero. Clad in a maid's dress. She looks like she is desperately trying to hold in a laugh. "I await your orders."

    "You know, you probably saved Fluffernutter from a great deal of injury. I'm shocked."

    "I do pity that poor man. I don't understand how he is still your intern. I would have given up and ran for it with this crazy family." Val poured himself a drink and hands her another bottle.

    "Feeling better?"

    Xhiero looked up just in time to see her twirl around in a maid outfit. His jaw dropped as he quickly regain his composure.

    "When did you get that?" He gives her a smug look. "Are you trying to apply for a job at Black Rose Bar and Inn? I am afraid we are not accepting applications at the moment."

    "For the most part. I suppose those buildings I was going to burn down are safe for now." She grins.

    She frowns at the knock on the door, instantly on alert. "Who would know to find us here?" She heads for the front door, opening it slightly to find the flyer.

    "What the hell?" She picks it up and reads it.

    Feeling relief that her attention was pulled away by the knock on the door. Xhiero followed after her, wondering who would disturb them after moving to a new home. He looked behind her shoulder.

    "What is it?"

    Val's ears twitched at the knocking. He sat up and walked towards the door of the Black Rose Inn and picked up a slip. The demon tried to decipher the runes to see what it said.
