"Kissing you on the cheek would be nice." He muses as he throws his last dart.


Susan shrugs and pokes his arm again.


"Bored. You're very muscular."

The member 'Susan Evensong' has done the following action : Roll them dice!

Craig turns red again and nervously gives her an extremely gentle, yet firm, kiss on the cheek.

"Thank you. No other prize could have held a candle to that."


"Glad you're aware." She pokes his arm again.

Craig's expression clouds slightly as he decides what to do next.

"Ah! I know!" His expression brightens and he turns to the radio and turns up the volume before turning back to Vasani with a grin.

"May I have this dance?"


"So, do you have any siblings?" Susan asks as she continues to poke his arm.

Nervously, he rests his hands on her hips before leading her through a dance with surprising skill.

"So, we've talked, had dinner, played games, and danced. Are there any other date experiences that you've wanted to try?" Craig asks as he spins her then pulls her back.


"Do you get along well?" Susan uses her free hand to poke him again.

"Well, the cruise ship did have dances every night." He laughs. "I think successful dates usually end with a kiss." 

He muses, turning red.

"Although, I did already take care of the kissing part..."

"And have the two of you been separated by choice or circumstance?" Susan asks as she squirms in his grip with a frustrated pout

"I... I... I.... I suppose you could absolutely have either another if you want one..." She says turning quite red.


"Do you intend to keep me like this until you finish working?"

Craig's eyes widen as fireworks proceed to go off in his head, but then slowly they drift closed. Gripping her waist tighter he pulls her closer and deepens the kiss just slightly. It is not the most skillful kiss in the world, but it is certainly quite focused. As if the entirety of his thoughts and attention are on the kiss ignoring the rest of the world at large.


"That depends." Susan says with a slight pout. "Do you intend to continue ignoring me?"

"Y..you can get carried away whenever you want!" Craig declares before processing what he just said and clapping a hand over his face in embarrassment. "Oh god, I'm an idiot kill me..."


Susan attempts to shrug but discovers it is a bit difficult with her wrists held hostage.

"I suppose I'm a bit needy. However, you could look up from your work on occasion."

"O...oh those!" Craig replies growing even redder as Vasani touches his collarbone.

"They are more effective when worn, b...but they aren't exactly appropriate attire for a date. Th... they look a bit silly. So I just have them in my pockets..."



"Much."

Susan replies with an amused grin.

"Sassy... I like it. Are you going to release me now?"

"O...of course you can!" Craig anxiously catches her wrist before her hand can go any lower and gently deposits a medallion into her hand.

"They are supposed to ward off spirits and theoretically demons in general. I.... had an unpleasant experience with spirits... I'm afraid I've never quite felt safe since."


"The long suffering patient type that can also pull out sass when needed." Susan muses. "No wonder I feel an overwhelming urge to pester you."

She laughs slightly and pulls out her magical rod once again using it as a seat.

"So, what is your favorite thing to do?"

"I mentioned before that my parents were librarians at a... unique library, did I not? Well, one night on a dare, a few lads and I snuck in after it had been closed for the night. I should have known better, my parents had always warned me against that sort of thing.

The thing about books of power, books that have a life of their own, is that they call to things. Now, for some reason those things took quite an interest in a group of daring idiotic young boys. When we saw the first spirit there was a panic, everyone dashing and scrabbling in different directions. I lost sight of the rest of the group, and the things seemed more interested in following them than they were me. I wasn't able to find them at all until I heard the screams." He frowns.

"They were never quite the same after that. Physically they were still there, but they were... empty. I never learned what they saw, because they never spoke again after that. Just sat and stared.... Maybe the king was right about that library being dangerous..."



"Am I getting repetitive? Oh dear! Whatever shall I do?!" Susan gasps dramatically and holds a hand to her forehead.

Craig is so red that steam can practically be seen coming from his ears.

"I...i...it's alright!" He says trying to pat her shoulder comfortingly. "Bad experiences shape who we are just as much as good ones. Who knows? If that hadn't happened I may never have ended up on this ship, or had the opportunity to take you on a date! And I'm so glad I did because you're amazing!"


"Oh, there isn't anything dull about you." Susan replies with a grin.
