Azazel goes flying off her feet from the force of Xhiero's smite and lands face first in the street. She lays there for a minute, trying to grasp what happened and then she springs up to her feet. She's got a bloody lip and a numerous little scraps and cuts to add to Xhiero's main blows, but she stares at him with new found respect. "Great match. We must fight again some day."

He laughed, "Indeed that was fun. I look forward to our next spar." Xhiero approached Azazel and held out his hand. "You are a formidable opponent."
Noticing her bloodied lip and wounds, Xhiero raised his hand towards her face. Poking her cheek gently and cast Cure Wounds. "I must get going. There are still a few more souls to collect in this town. We will meet again." He turned away and waved towards Azazel before disappearing down the street.

Azazel shakes his offered hand and bids him farewell, mildly bewildered by the poke.
She turns at the sound of Susan's approach. "I most certainly do not." She pauses in thought, "Were that true he would have been gobbled up by Jasper by now." She rolls her eyes and walks back into the bar.

Val appeared behind Susan and yawned. "Azzie has a boiiiifriend? Wait til Demetri hears this!" He giggled and ran a hand through his messy bed head. After Azazel had denied that the mysterious man was her boyfriend, his ears lowered. Val followed her back inside. "Aww Azzie. I don't remember ever seeing you with a significant other. When was the last time you had some romantic action?" He sat down next to her and nudged her arm with his elbow.

Val had ordered some tea from the bar maid and begin to sip from his cup, not letting Azazel get away with the story telling. "I bet Susan is interested in this too, correct?" He gave her a wink.

"You expect me to remember the first? You do realize I don't even remember how old I truly am?" She raises an eyebrow. "I will tell you one. We'd be here for ages if I listed everything."
She slouches a bit in her chair, clearly bored. "Once, oh about a millennia ago. I was fighting in a small army for some cause or another. It didn't matter to me then, I just enjoyed the fighting; the chaos." She looks lost in thought for a moment.
"Anyway, we were sailing across the Black Sea. Tensions were often high having that many antsy mortals in such a tiny space. The captain would have everyone fight it out to relieve stress. There was one particular soldier that did well against me. He had reach, but I had flexibility. We were evenly matched and often left it at a tie, much to the dismay of the betting pool." She chuckles and grins a bit evilly.
"One night however, we held a tie breaker afterwards in my quarters. He had reach, and I had flexibility."
She frowns.
"Then Jasper came and ate the boat."
"I hate boats now."

"There isn't that much to tell really. I'm the only heir to the business and family fortune and my parents want to be sure that I'll...produce...an heir.."
Susan pales and shifts uncomfortably at this before continuing.
"So they betrothed me. It wouldn't be that bad, but they picked my cousin! He's an idiot, and an ass! Azazel has met him, she can tell you, he is a totally unlikable prick. Worst of all he's a bard, I hate bards!" Susan scowls darkly.
"I can get out of it if I marry someone else, but that is unlikely. Maybe I'll just kill him..."

"Hmmm..." Val sat there and thought really really hard. "Hmm, I can't really think of anything embarrassing..I am pretty sure I do many of stupid things though. Romantic...I remember when I was traveling alone, which I do a lot...I came upon a very beautiful maiden in the woods. The last image of her was forever scarred into my mind." Val's body started to shiver.
"Under the light of the moon..I was going to have my first kiss. As my face inched closer to her's, I could feel her breath in the cold night air. Suddenly I felt a cold finger upon my lips. I opened my eyes..."
