The devious side of the reaper wanted to battle indoors just to torture Susan. Even though they had just met, somehow she was fun to tease. Being raised up properly he agreed that outside would be the best option. "Outside sounds like a better idea. I would have more room to swing this thing around." He patted the Scythe as he walked towards the door.

Azazel follows Xhiero outside, secretly lusting after his scythe. She pulls her executioner's axe from its place on her back and stands opposite Xhiero in the street. She stretches and shakes out her limbs as she watches the man prepare himself.

You'd think that since she was watching the scythe, Azazel would have been able to dodge the attack without thought. Instead she rolls with the momentum of the hit and swings her axe at Xhiero's shoulder, channelling her bloodlust into a concentrated unholy flame that engulfs her axe.

He had left himself wide open from the top and took the hit on the shoulder. Xhiero managed to stop the blade from digging deeper into his shoulder by blocking it with the handle of his weapon. But Azazel's weapon had been enchanted and started burning his would. The reaper thrust her weapon away from him and leap back a little to keep their distance.
He cast an enchantment onto his weapon and went in for the next attack.
