Abandoning Etheyl in the living room, Lexa wanders into the kitchen looking for a snack.
She frowns when she sees a bleeding Xhiero laying on the floor. Kneeling next to him, she gently pats his shoulder and casts Cure Wounds.

Azazel isn't completely confident in her ability to hop treetop to treetop, but it wasn't in her nature to let her prey go. Especially one that targetted one of the few people she actually gave a damn about.

Xhiero weakly smiled at Lexa and patted her on the head.
"It is good to have someone else around who knows how to heal. I am sorry I made a mess." He noticed her expression at the floor she just cleaned. Xhiero reached for the counter to pull himself up. His other hand rubbing his forehead.
"I am starting to agree that she needs to move.."
The figure cursed as Azazel was catching up to them. They quickly stop to cast a spell. A raven appears and swoop at Azazel, trying to knock her from the branches.

Aden's eyes twitch as he stares at the bag. He picks up one of the shiny stones before tossing the bag and stone aside. "That is the last time I help that stupid fox!" He shouts before glaring at Susan. After a few seconds of deep breathing he's finally calm enough to talk. "I found a healer." He glares daggers at the bag. "It's a damn good thing she healed me for free or I would have wasted more than just my precious time on a damn job."

Azazel gets knocked off her treetop and tumbles through air till she hits a branch a couple feet door, landing on her stomch.
"Fuuuuck." She groans and flips around so she's sitting on the branch. Prodding at her side to test for damage, her body tenses and she winces at the pain. "Broken ribs. Xhiero is going to be pissed."

"Oh yeah I am." Xhiero said as he caught up and stopped to catch his breath. He knelt down next to Azazel and gently placed a hand on the side of her rib cage and cast healing on her.
"Who ever it was won't be coming back any time soon. You chased them off your house like an angry, old grandma." He laughed and helped her to her feet.

"The thing is probably cursed. I do not even know where it came from." Upon entering the house, she heads for the kitchen and grabs the maul. "I kind of wish they would come back. I would like to know what their deal is."
She examines the maul with distaste before heading into the basement. She opens a hidden door in the corner of the armory, unlocking it with a large skeleton key, and tosses the maul in before shutting the door again.
