    "Not exactly on fire...but something is bound to be happening." He held onto her hand. Dullahan catches up to them and nudges Xhiero on the shoulder.

    "Right. Sorry." He laughed at the horse and lifted Azazel onto his mount. Xhiero joined her and rode the rest of the way home. Once they returned home, he finds Lexa passed out and Val on one of the couch. Unsure if he is asleep or not and Etheyl.

    "What is happening?"

    It takes longer than usual for Lexa to appear in Val's dream. When she finally does, something seems wrong. Before she had seemed solid and focused, now she seems dazed and keeps fading in an out of solid form, random parts of her seem to turn invisible then reappear. It is as if she can no longer focus on maintaining her form. She seems to be staring off into space, before she finally notices Val.


    "You do not usually sleep at this hour." She states, looking at him with confusion.

    "What is it that you need us to do? Are you going to be okay? You are bleeding out of your ears. That is not normal!" The demon stops in front of Lexa and kneels down next to her.

    "That would explain why it....hurts." She winces and starts to fade again.


    "Ohgam informed me of the next step I need to take towards my destiny... loudly.. He... forgets how breakable we are when he gets excited.... he's lost a few Mouthpieces that way..." She offers him a pained grin.


    "I need to be healed before the damage becomes more...permanent... I can heal myself if I wake up, but I may need help waking. Or, someone else will need to do it."


    "Then, we can talk about meeting a king...."

    "Got it. I'll return back to the other side and do what I can." Val smiled and tried to snap himself awake. He jolted in his seat as the fake glasses he was wear almost fell from his face. He quickly pushed it back up and noticed Xhiero and Azazel watching them.

    "Xhi-chan! Can you heal Lexa. She started bleeding from her ear and then she needs to be woken up." The demon excited pointed at the small girl and stood up from his seat.

    Xhiero looked at Val confused and walked over towards Lexa's sleeping body. He gently touched her forehead and healed her. The reaper gently placed a hand onto her shoulder and shook her to wake the girl up.

    "Lexa? Can you hear me?"

    Slowly sitting up, Lexa smiles weakly at Xhiero and shakes her head.


    Pulling out the pen and paper she hurriedly scribbles, handwriting still a little shakey.

    Xhiero shook his head and help her get up. He put a pillow behind so she can lean on it. The reaper patted her head before heading to the kitchen to get her some water to drink.

    "Rest until you are well again. We are not going anywhere." He placed the glass of water at the stand next to her and sat down next to Lexa.

    Now that Lexa is no longer in any immediate danger, Susan resumes staring wide eyed at Val.

    Azazel wanders into her room, knowing she will hear the details of Lexa's mission later.

    She flops onto her bed and pulls out her dagger. She proceeds to play an odd game of chicken with herself by flipping it in the air and catching it just before it hits her chest.

    Apparently Azazel misses the figure by a lot, but his hand quickly grabs her wrist and pulls her up from the bed. Her body lands against the silhouette's.

    "Hello, darling. Did you miss me that much?" Sloan wrapped his arms tightly around. The arm holding the dagger snakes around behind her head. The blade resting against her neck.

    His eyes looked her up and down.

    "Nice dress. Glad I decided to stop by."
